Bengal election is going on and corona cases are increasing day-by-day across the country, but the government only focus on Bengal election. Bengal election is more important than the COVID-19, the other states are suffering from the lack of oxygen and vaccines but the government focus on the Bengal election. And the other side some state governments imposed a strict lockdown because these waves of coronavirus are more dangerous than the previous waves. Yesterday PM Modi clearly says no need for lockdown but increases the testing rate PM says in the meeting. Every political party doing mass rallies and become a super spreader of coronavirus because nowadays above 1 lakh are coming in a single day, these are very serious issues and death rate are also increases. And testing another issue in Bengal because COVID news is not reported properly. This election decides the future of Mamata Banerjee and his party TMC because BJP spread its power on a ground-level very strongly.
Opinion polls say a very strong fight between the BJP and TMC both parties are doing an aggressive campaign. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee attacked Shah during a rally, alleging that the home minister was trying to incite violence in the state and egging the police to engage in unethical acts. Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will give a go-ahead for the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in West Bengal if voted to power even as the Centre will decide on the implementation of the legislation. While releasing the BJP’s election manifesto for Bengal on March 21, Shah said, “Once we are in power... the first meeting of our Cabinet will announce the implementation of the CAA.”
And Mamata Banerjee fight against the Suvendu Adhikari, he was right-hand of Mamata Banerjee but now the condition totally changes. Now Nandigram is a hotspot of the Bengal election, some experts this is a strategy of BJP to stop Mamata Banerjee in one place. Many senior leaders of TMC join BJP and BJP increases their ground base.
Union home minister Amit Shah went on a door-to-door campaign seeking votes from people in south Kolkata’s Bhawanipore area considered as chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s backyard. Later in the day, Shah had a vegetarian Bengali lunch at the apartment of BJP old-timer and state leader Samarendraprasad Biswas in Bhawanipore constituency.
