Shubman Gill is one of the brightest shining star in the Indian cricketing horizon.  Shubman Gill continued his recent record-making spree, becoming the youngest men’s cricketer to score hundreds in all three formats of the game on Wednesday. The teenager impressed everybody with his affluent playing style during the U-19 World Cup and since then has only got better and better. At 23 years and 146 days, he accomplished the feat against New Zealand in the third T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In the form of his life, Shubman Gill smashed a scintillating century in the series deciding third T20I against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Often categorised as the ‘future of Indian batting', Shubman Gill proved that he does belong to the T20 internationals, scoring his maiden century in the format in the 3rd and final T20I of the series against New Zealand.

The 54-ball century was Gill’s first in the shortest format. With the masterful ton, Gill became the fifth Indian to score centuries across formats.

Gill is also the seventh India player to hit a T20 international hundred in what was only his sixth appearance. Last month Gill became the youngest man to hit a double ton in a one-day international at the age of 23 years and 132 days in a thrilling victory over New Zealand in Hyderabad.

His blistering knock, including 12 fours and seven sixes, formed the backbone of India's innings and included a 103-run partnership for the fourth wicket with stand-in skipper Pandya, who hit 30 from 17 balls.

Rahul Tripathi added a brisk 44 from 22 balls and Suryakumar Yadav 30 from 13 to help India post an imposing target. Gill, who ended his innings at 126, has now registered the highest score for an Indian in T20 internationals. Earlier, Virat Kohli held the record for scoring the highest-score for an Indian in T20Is. Kohli had scored an unbeaten 122 against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup. Gill surpassed him in the match against the Kiwis.
