A persuasive speech
Speaking on the occasion, Annamalai spoke very well about how the students should prepare themselves for the examination.
He explained the confusion of what to do when he was in school, the difficulties he faced when he decided to study for IPS, and his experiences with students.
He mentioned that common sense is especially required for these exams.
There is no doubt that Annamalai's answer to those who asked the question must have been motivational.
It was also reassuring to those who saw it.
Previous generations
Such promising and awareness classes are being held for the present generation and with the presence of internet, they are seeing various opportunities.
Earlier such opportunities were not available to everyone.
I didn't know what I wanted to be when I was in school. Not only me but many people don't know.
Many people of my generation (70s / 80s) have nothing to do with what they study and what they do.
Back then college education was not important, polytechnic was popular but now degree is minimum qualification.
The sheltered Annamalai
At an early age, I had an inordinate love for railways (still do) but I didn't know that I could study and work in this sector, and my father didn't tell me either.
Maybe if someone guides me in the right way, I have a chance to join my favorite field.
But the need for money at that time made it necessary to go into the IT sector.
Looking at the current development of the railway sector, there is a growing fear that we have lost touch in this sector.
It becomes even more so when people like Annamalai listen.
recommendation
So, those who are of school leaving age or have children get proper advice.
There are many courses available. Don't stick with the same course that everyone else takes.
Similarly, if you want to go for central state government jobs, what should you study? How to study? Plan who to ask for advice.
If you plan and study properly, you can definitely get the desired job.
Those who do not want to work but want to start a company (Entrepreneur), read the related course.
There are so many people out there to consult with now, and the Internet is overflowing with opportunities. So, take your time and choose the course.
Those who are currently studying with a goal should definitely listen to the Annamalai talk.
No IAS / IPS, useful for any higher course.
