How to read? When I saw the title, I thought that Selvendran was telling us how to read, but it explained more about the necessity of reading.

Due to the lack of reading habits, he has told how bad the students are in general knowledge with incidents.

Exaggerated incidents?!
To all who study, can students be this stupid?! There is a lot of doubt.

While this may appear to be an exaggeration of events for the purpose of this article, it also appears likely to be so.

The reason is that in some YouTube videos you can see students struggling with even a simple question that is asked for fun.

The power of books
A book helps us change our thoughts and gives us a new perspective.

Anyone who has read Jayamohan's novel 'Elephant Doctor' together will have a change of heart for those who read it to the point where they cannot throw a beer bottle in the forest.

Newspapers and books have given experiences, helped to clarify ideas and introduced new news.

Many countries place emphasis on reading books and are therefore pioneers in thinking. Leaders of major companies devote time to study.

When thinking and knowledge rise, the nation will lead to progress. People who know things cannot be fooled. Anyone who fears knowledge indicates that the administration will improve

Why not read?
He cites many reasons why the current generation has reduced or stopped reading. All accepted.

Among these I would like to mention distractions and the tendency to think of short, interesting reading.

A lot of things on Facebook, Twitter, etc. are meaningless but interesting. This is also the reason for losing interest in books.

Taking the rise of devices (Mobile / Tab) as a change of times, it is better to continue the habit of reading in modern book format like Kindle.

How to read a book?
Even if you don't like the book, you don't have to read it. Don't read with preconceived notions.

Some will impose their ideology and it is better to avoid them.

Does it cost to study?
There are plenty of websites to read for free. Books are available for free on Kindle.

Books can be read for free through various facilities including libraries.

Reading piracy books shared on app like Telegram is wrong.

It's like stealing a writer's work. Read paid or official free books.

Thanks for reading …
