Vermaguns and Thighs: The Story of My Life | Ram Gopal Verma
Hi friends once again welcome back back to my another blog.
Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has narrated his life experiences through the book Guns and Thighs: The Story of My Life.
Ram Gopal Varma is one of the greatest directors. The reason is his raw screenplay structure and cinematography. His movies like Satya, Rangeela, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, Company have been enjoyed a lot.

He was not old enough to write a biography. I don't understand why he wrote now. In some places he also mentions that he spoke privately to others.
This may create an uncomfortable situation for the person concerned.
Rahman
Director Mani Ratnam showed Varma the music composed by Raghuman for Roja, and he was surprised to hear it and signed a contract for the film Rangeela.
Although Roja was a big hit in North India as well, Rakhuman was a blind hit (Fluke) and no producer signed Rakhuman to compose music.
Only Ram Gopal Varma had faith and achieved victory.
Those who saw the film in theaters in the 90s will understand what kind of musical success Rangeela was. Festival-like crowd at Chennai Devi Theater, just for singing!
Success will only speak for itself
Verma has said that if he wins, he said it then and even if he loses, he said it then.
An example of this that he gives is Attakasa.
When Sunil Gavaskar did not play well in a match, the person who would pad him advised him to bat like that and play like that.
But he doesn't even know how to hold the bat 🙂 . He was saying this to show that if someone fails, he leaves to give advice to others
College experiences
When I was studying in college, I kept watching the same work in the nearby theater, and the owner got angry and scolded me for watching such a movie without studying.
But when his first film 'Shiva' was released in the same theatre, Verma went there sentimentally and participated in the success celebration.
'Shiva' was translated as Udayam in Tamil and ran for 200 days. Then the college students wandered with the bicycle sign.
The habit of being a raider and the incidents that happened while he was at the Gaithaki police station helped Verma to set the scenes in a natural way.
