Walking alone in the street, alone only physically, in mind, I was with my other self who just gaze here and there and communicate with my physical self as the former comes to any idea about anything. It was 5:00 in the morning, in the morning is more I like than just AM. Don’t because it increases the word count, but by reading just this word “Morning” the mind automatically triggers the scene in which a cool breeze blows, the birds sing their favorite song, whether it is from Hollywood or Bollywood, the air is so refreshing and fresh that it makes you inhale as much as you can because you know after this time you will inhale various gases but the oxygen.

While walking in the street, I listened to some sort of devotional chanting, coming from some house. I thought the members of that house must be some sort of pure devotees of God, as they were pretending they are, yes, pretending. They were just listening as I was right then because that chanting and the devotional songs were only played on some sort of TV channel. They were pretending that they love God so much that every morning, even their TV plays devotional audios only. To whom they were pretending actually..? To themselves..? I think yes because anybody in their neighborhood was not seemed to be very happy with this as their sleep was being disturbed by that TV every morning.

As I walked further, somewhere jasmine was fragrant in the air but that fragrance was of jasmine flavored incense sticks, PRETENDING. I reached the main road; there was no traffic at all that time. How amazing it is, the road which is so full in the daytime that you can’t walk on that road by not rubbing your shoulder with the next person is now empty at its fullest. Time, here is its role. There is always a time for everything and the irony is it keeps changing.

Reached the park nearest to my place. Every day there were some new bees there, some new runners, some new yoga practitioners, some new laughing uncles, some new clapping uncles, some new parents who wanted to turn their children playing at the swings section, some new love birds as they can create the best drama of doing a morning walk because that was their mini-date every day.

As I take a round around that park on the sidewalk, I noticed some sorts of fruits were being pulverized among the feet of all of us, morning walkers. Another sign of time being playing, because yesterday, a group of children was throwing stones at those fruits and some were trying to climb on that tree so they can grab at least some of those fruits, I don’t know if they got any, because it was just gazing which my inner self did and physical self just passed out from that scene normally. But now those fruits were under the feet of everyone and were looking disgusting on that newly made red-colored sidewalk of that park.

I was walking when I saw some diamonds were there at some distance on the bushes and the leaves of the trees and grass also, dew drops. Seemed like real diamonds as the shiny but still not so warm sunshine fell upon them. “Everything that glitters is not gold” was the first thought which comes to my mind with some cute memories of my childhood when I crammed this moral of some story in my book and some bitter memories from my adulthood when I got to know about the real meaning of that crammed line.

I went near to one of those diamond-looking trees and still, I don’t know how I just bumped into that tree and the children around me were laughing at me while some old man came to me to know I was absolutely fine not injured and after some time everybody shattered, did their respective deeds. I stood up straight, still thinking how did I bump into that tree..? I noticed my clothes were all wet then, my whole tracksuit was wet. I had never experienced such heavy sweating in just a few minutes of walking only. I take a look towards the leaves of that tree, there were no diamonds anymore. What the hell..? Am I hallucinating..? I thought, since I was sweating more than normal there were not dew drops either on that tree for which I had come closer to it. Then I noticed, all those dewdrops, which were just like diamonds when they were on that tree were now a part of my sweat on me, that’s why no diamonds were there on leaves and I was sweating more than normal.

This is what happens sometimes, that dewdrops seemed like real diamonds when they were on that tree and were increasing the beauty of that which attracted me towards it. As I came closer to that tree, I bumped into it, the tree shed all the diamonds it had just because someone else bumped into it who made it feel like moving for some time or who made it hallucinate about moving. But as that someone looked, that tree was not looking that fascinating now, since it lost its diamonds that someone also left. The tree now was all alone; it had neither diamonds nor the someone who make it move. The worth, the beauty of that tree was with those diamonds on it, but it had nothing at the end.

The tree will get another set of diamond jewelry the next day, maybe it loses that too, as per some reasons or greed of it, but the diamonds which were then converted into my sweat nowhere found again.
