I think all of us ask this one question whenever we look ourselves in the mirror  " Am I beautiful?"

I have got an answer to this question " yes, you are beautiful!"  Not just you or me but all of us are beautiful.

I know we often doubt ourselves and think we are not enough. But have you ever wondered why this thought come to your mind? Well, it is because you measure yourself on the scale of beauty, which society has set. You compare yourself on the parameters of the beauty standards  set by the society and these beauty standards are nothing but idolizing unrealistic physical attributes.

As a society we need to change our mindset. We need to understand that beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and colours. So we must remember that beauty is not just about that toned abs, fair skin or long hair, but also about that tummy fat, dark skin or short hair.

I have heard people saying "so what if you don't have beautiful face but you have a beautiful heart!"  But I have one question for these people, who are you to decide what is beautiful and what is not?  

Always remember that all of us are created by God and are unique. So how can you say that creation of God is not beautiful.

If you are not convinced yet let me explain. When we look at other creation of Nature, such as animals, birds, flowers. Let's take an example of flowers. When we look at different flowers we all can notice that each flower is different from each other irrespective of size, colour, shape or smell. But do we criticize them for being different? Do we call them ugly? The answer is no. We find them beautiful irrespective of their different appearance. Same thing is applicable to human as well. We all are different from each other but beautiful in our own way.

You can also enhance your beauty and look attractive. All you need is to be "confident"! We need to be confident the way we look. We should learn to confidently flaunt ourselves. You can definitely apply make up if that makes you feel confident. Don't let others judgement make you doubt yourself.
