Do You Spend Enough Time With Your Parents & Really Respect Them

Parents are the biggest blessing to us in this universe. They are our birth givers who have given us this wonderful life. We share an impeccable bond with them. We might not always or ever be able express our love to them but we all feel how much they mean to us.

In this world of technology today where everything is now driven and replaced by machines, there is hardly any human contact left. Everything is available on the internet, we communicate through social platforms , order everything online, etc.

So the point is do we really make ourselves available enough to our parents and spend quality time with them. We all know the answer somehow. Life is so busy now a days with work and overpowered technology that we rarely get time for ourselves

But sometimes due to several factors we knowingly or unknowingly drift apart from your parents and the reasons are numerous like

1.There could be generation gap between the two naturally

2.Holding grudges for something happened

3.Change of Priorities as we grow up

These are just major reasons lined but in real there could a lot more different types of reason. But we really need to understand the fact that they are our parents, and they need us. We should always take out time for them even if its just having dinner or lunch together.

As we grow up our parents also grow up or should I say grow old and this is the peak time they need their children around. Not necessarily you have to be around because that not always possible but you can be in touch with them, ask about their health, give them gifts and try to understand them . We should never ever avoid them , that's the worst thing we could do. Parents tend to do always happy things for their child and really expect much in return in fact they are selfless. In case there are extreme cases of fight with parents , you should always ask for help from your extended family or may be professional counsellor. Because when opinions differ , argument arises and its a very natural process that happens with everyone.

Ultimately we will also become parent one day and understand the feeling so we shall always keep this in mind and the least we can do for them is to give them our TIME. And LOCKDOWN is really a blessed time to be with your family
