When you sit to relax and turn on the television common NEWS everybody nowadays finds is suicide. And this NEWS had been common and the reason leading to suicides are things that can be resolved when bought to attention or when little care can be taken for the victims. And this WSPD is organised worldwide because one in a hundred death is by suicide that accounts all over the world. WSPD follows different themes every year to create awareness among the public and increase mental stability among the public as mentioned by International Association for Suicide Prevention which is supported by World Health Organisation (WHO).
World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on the 10th of every September each year. The main objective or the aim of WSPD is to spread awareness among all to prevent suicide and enhance mental stability to all. It creates a way to relieve stress and treat mental illness which are the two big problems of suicide. It is really very cruel to take one's life by their own decisions. The value of life is much higher than all the problems one has to encounter. This day helps the person who is going through any depression or the ones who can stop one from doing soo. In this so-called practical world, no one has even a second to listen to the problem one faces. And hence this awareness helps one to get out from their problems or helps others in solving out one's problem.
The theme of the current year 2021 of World Suicide Prevention Day is “Creating Hopes Through Action”. As this theme is set they tend to create a positive environment by motivating and creating a platform where people can get help in having a hope to live for a little longer. A hope that can stop one from thinking only about the negative side of life. A hope that makes one wait for their moment to make them right.
Suicide prevails not only in depressed one's but in everyone's life. At least once in a lifetime most of the population would have thought taking their life by themselves would be the better way of solving problems but it turns out to be that it is not so. Every problem in this world has a good solution. If yours does not turn out to be the good one in a single situation that's okay. Life may give you a better chance to prove yourself.
