Fire we generally listen this word from our childhood. We all also knows about its uses and  demerits . According to our Vedas , Purans and other Scriptures , fire is also a important element of our body. We all about everything of the fire and we also see the fire from our real eyes. But today I am going to tell you about the such fire which is really fire and also act like the real fire but invisible in appearance.

INVISIBLE FIRE ----

We call this invisible fire by the name of Methanol in terms of science . 

Methanol flame is very harmful, we can't use methanol fire as the normal fire flame because it is inflammable and toxic. In our mind a question occurs why this methanol fire is invisible in appearance .The reason behind this thing is methanol flame is blue in color that's why it is not see by a person in white light .

We generally uses ethanol fire in our daily routine household chores that's now I am going to tell about the difference between the ethanol and methanol fire-

Here Ethanol Is flammable , volatile  has a strong distinctive smell where, methanol is inflammable, volatile has a strong distinctive smell .               Ethanol  gives off a bright blue flame when burned , where methanol gives off a bright white flame when burned.

In the comparison on the basis of acid ---Ethanol is a weak acid compared to water , where methanol is a strong acid compared to water .                                    

In the terms of synthesis — Ethanol is typically produced by the fermentation of food crops , where Methanol is usually synthetically processed .

 Normal uses --The main ingredient of Ethanol is alcoholic beverages , where Methanol Should not be consumed!  It is used to produce other chemicals such as  formaldehyde .

USES OF METHANOL FLAME ----  

• Methanol is used as a feedstock and use in making many chemicals like acetic acid and formaldehyde .
• Methanol is also used as automotive antifreezes , in rocket fuels and as a general solvent , etcetera.
• Methanol is also used as sewage treatment plants .
• Methanol is used to produce hydrocarbons and some aromatic compounds .
• In order to increase the power of big engines methanol is used along water in a mixture.
• Useful in production of methyl ethers and methylamines.
