I always was deprived of love and always wanted to have a male figure in life. After going for several counseling sessions one counselor finally told me that you have always had that male figure missing in your life means my father died when I was 3 and my elder brother and I always had differences we never got along and he never cared to take the place of my father for me.

So after I grew up the emptiness was always inside me that I want my boyfriend and husband to complete these roles in my life and being from complete girls school and college was never around men. I went on to these dating sites and started searching for the love of my life. I didn't know people only know how to use you and play around with your feelings, I always wanted a guy who looks handsome, has a beard, had money, can love me unconditionally and never judge me, stay by me through my thick and thin... I fell a lot of times on my face while keeping my criteria in mind and then I realized looks are secondary now days having a good heart is rare, isn't it? Someone who truly feels for you loves you and supports you in your decisions.

So dear girls instead of running behind men who are handsome and successful and are classy why not be that woman that a guy says I want this girl in my life. Look at her she is so successful, focused, and classy and my type, it may take longer to pursue her but I will because I want her and love her. The compete perception changes right?

It's not that I or anyone of you don't crave love, emotionally or sexually but let us learn to give ourselves to the right person, invest our emotions in someone who is equally ready to invest his emotions in ours, who stays by you no matter what, through your mood wings, through your sickness and health.

Be the girl you have dreamt of being, that someday no matter what at the end you should be proud of yourself and can say yes you did it, you are where you always wanted to be, love will come your way with the right person at the right time stop running behind anyone.
