Today,  when I wake up in he morning I felt so lazy that I was so reluctant to go to office. But, office is such one thing that we have to do though we hate it doing everyday. There was one escape in my life which used to save me from this daily boredom, TRAVELLING. But, due to Corona Virus situation I did not able to travel any place for vacation since March 2020. There is a set pattern now in my life.. wake up in the morning.. get ready and go to office as I am really not an early riser person, I do not have time for exercise or reading news paper time in the morning.

I was standing in my balcony and thinking about my holidays which I started to spend since I got the first job in 2016. Before 2016, our family could not afford such holidays in a routined manner, as we did not have that financial stability.

Year 2016: PONDICHERRY:-

I was in Chennai and Pondicherry was the nearest place and cheap and affordable too to start as a  first time traveler. We hired a scooty, and left for pondi. In the middle there is a place called ‘’Mahabalipuram", which has amazing scenic beauty. This is also a UNESCO certified Heritage place. in Pondi, We stayed in front of Rock Beach, at PROMENADE, which is also another famous place there.

We started roaming around pondi from the next day. Our first destination was PARADISE BEACH. For reaching Paradise Beach, we had to go to the Boat House, from there we took 250 rupees ticket for sharing speed boat which will take you to Paradise beach. The journey from Boat house to Paradise Beach is such a heaven. The greenery and the clear sea water made it too photogenic to believe us that we are in some foreign land.

We reached Paradise Beach. Honestly, it was more like a Miami Beach, it was so clean and clear water that we could actually able to see our feet inside the sea. There was also a provision to take bath under the shower once you complete sea bath session. Also, there was restros, booze almost everything we want to party, enjoy and chill. Only backdrop was that, it was too sunny so chances of getting tanned is huge over there and It was too too hot.

Our next destination was Rock Beach which also looks like Dubai at night, they have decorated it so well. Also, White town is a place where all the Travelers get their photoshoot done because the buildings are so nice. It was earlier a french colony. Even now also, so many french people stays there, some has started renting their house to the tourists. In the evening there are so many lounges, bars, pubs, music shows live. 

Also, we visited the museum which is worth a visit and we also attended the morning prayers at BASILICA CHURCH, which is also one of the tourist attraction over there.

In my Chennai duration, I got chance to visit Pondi another 2 times and every time it mesmerized me. Hope all should at least go to Pondi once in their life……………….
