Recently I watched one of my favorite movies.. The Intern. The movie shows that age is just a number and you can start your second innings of the life anytime, whenever you feel right. The story is about Jules Austin, a successful entrepreneur who is running a clothing E- commerce company online and Ben, the senior Intern who eventually turned out to be the best friend of Jules from an Intern in her journey of life. The story evolves around these two characters. The story line is worth writing a blog on it.
Another important point it teaches us that work is worship. No matter what work you do, you should do it diligently, whole- heartedly. It will get noticed and rewarded one day.
In this movie when Ben got appointed as an Intern in an E- commerce fashion and shopping company, he had no idea how this technology works online. But he gradually grabbed the knowledge and later on master on the field he was working in.
On another side, it showed that Jules Austin, who was the boss and the founder of the E- commerce company, has single handedly made and expanded the whole company. She became sleep deprived, sacrifice her family in order to establish her dream company. Later on when management took the decision to appoint a full time CEO for running the company , it hurts her. She tried to sink herself into the decision of appointing a CEO and working under that person but deep inside she could not place herself on the same page where the other partners were suggesting the same.
Also, this movie teaches us that we should always get in touch with the older people. Their life experience, decision making power, the way they look up to different things and treat them is worth learning. They may not be as updated in technology but they can become a very good support system of life. When anyone feels confused to take any decision or may be we feel low, the best advise can be given by an elderly person.
This movie is worth a watch and I suggest everyone should watch this. When we talk about generation gap and have build a huge distance in our life with our parents and we always keep secrets from them. But honestly these people are the only person who would never judge our actions and always be our well wishers.
