INSTALLATION

1. You have to order this service first. Either through an agent or you can do it yourself online.
2. Jio services agent comes to your home for taking the order by doing KYC. You have to show your Aadhar Card or any other Govt. Identity to the agent.
3. Minimum installation charge including first month recharge is ₹1500 for router only. If you want to buy Set Top Box too, you have to pay ₹1000 extra for it. Pay the amount as per your connection requirements and you'll get online reciept instantly.
4. JioFixed voice calling number and Service order number will be allotted to you.
5. A time slot will be scheduled for the installation. But generally they don't come on the scheduled date. You have to wait atleast 3 to 4 days for installation.
6. If you call customer care during this time for enquiry or complaint, you will not get any kind of useful information from them. So just you have to wait for it.
7. When the installation Engineers come, they will check the distance of nearest pole to your house. According to which they will select which type of cable is suitable to use.
8. There are 3 types of cables based on its thickness. If the distance is long then they will select the thickest one.
9. They will fix the cable upto your house, router and another small white box with it.
10. All the essential connections will be made. After installation, you have to share two OTPs with the installation Engineers.

USAGE

1. Jio Fiber plans provided truly unlimited data to the users. All the plans have maximum data usage value as 3300GB per month.
2. This data is more than enough for the users and it can't be consumed completely.
3. You can easily watch 4K videos smoothly at the same time on 2 to 3 devices.
4. If you try to watch videos on more than 3 devices, the video may lag.
5. Unlimited voice and video calling is also available, when you call a person with wifi connected mode. JioFixed voice number will be used as default.
6. Minimum ₹399* recharge is enough for usage. You get 30Mbps speed at this cost.
7. This cost doesn't includes GST, so the total cost is ₹470 including GST.
8. You can change wifi password and many other settings of your router through My Jio app.
