A labyrinth of closely knitted thoughts

For that sacrosanct but that hardly used spot

Two strangers had a rendezvous to fill the gap

As if cupid got back on the job, after a prolonged nap!

Cladded a silken saree, with a baggage of apprehensions on mind

The damsel appeared stressed, as mixed thoughts

She could not leave behind!

Suddenly the gentleman enters the venue to brighten up

The place with glaze and hue...

As the girl turned her head opposite to him...

His eyes in one go, could capture her profile view!

With the intermingling of families soon began

Both got their heartbeats in a sync for some span

The story assigned itself the introductory stanza

It was now a turn for one-to-one meeting for them,

As if both competed for a love’s bonanza!

With the loads of questionnaire on the mind

The boy splashed his tender laugh…

As if an insipid plate got zest of tamarind!

Though the girl intended to exchange the smile

But the essence of nervousness, came hunting behind…

Could an arranged set up ever suffice!

Would it be in a tune or turn into obsolete guise…

In the quest of skepticism, both appeared overtly qualified

How can a procession of a few moments

Can let the life decide!! 

But both were equally unaware,

Divine and destiny work under the wraps

To manifest the unexpected with utmost care…

Whenever the girl took a break, from giving her eyeballs

A tour to the ‘ceiling’

The eyes on the other side would try to meet hers

With the inception of propitious feelings!

The boy tried to help her attain the comfort…

The girl quiescently acknowledged his efforts!

Though the girl happened to be a garrulous soul,

Usually her counterpart acted taciturn,

But the day served their role reversal in a bowl!

 She was welcoming every word from his mouth,

He read her expressions, as a professional in scout

With the slip of every minute on the face of timeframe

Losing hearts on each other appeared as a full-fledged game!

Disappearance of obscure thoughts, once resided in brain

Allowed hearts to mingle with no refrain!

Both left the place, allotting a place to each other in bosom,

This is how a tale of love was ‘arranged’ by Universe…

For a lifetime to nurture it, to let the sapling of bond blossom!!

When love decides to sneak into the life..

It sits on your platter, even when your heart goes for no chase or strife!!
