We know that oxygen is essential for all human beings and all living organisms. Every day I do lots of activity. Every activity need power. That power comes after the combustion of food with help of oxygen. Similarly water living organisms need oxygen.

So let's talk about water living organisms that need oxygen. Some term which related to water dissolved oxygen.

Dissolve oxygen- It is amount of oxygen that  dissolved in water which gives life to water living organisms. When the amount of oxygen  is less 4 miligram per liter then we say that water is poluated.

Biological oxygen demand- The amount of oxygen in water  that need for decomposition of carbonic matter through bio- chemical process. If biological oxygen demand is High the dissolved oxygen is less in water.

Chemical oxygen demand- The amount of oxygen that need for oxidation of all carbonic matter ( biodegradable and Non-biodegradable). It is good method to test water pollution.

Most Probable Number- When E.Coli bacteria is found large amount in the water then Water pollution measure with the help of Most Probable Number.

Modern times we understand the need of growth but we ensure the need of natural resources. That resources we carry forwarded to our next generation.

We see in recent couple of years human being are use natural resources at faster rate. Most of times this use in wastage form.

Water is essential part of human life. The source of water like river, underground water,ocean etc. Water is found on earth surface large amount. Human being are used  fresh water in daily life which is available low amount. This fresh water source are river, underground water. Ocean water is salty which are not useful for human. This limited resources are need to use in waste free manner.

Industrial sector are need high amount of water. These industries use water for natural resources but not dump in same manner. Industries are dump untreated chemically water in river. Which affects the river eco system. River 's biological oxygen demand are low. That causes a loss of eco system of river. 

Government take much security step to protect our fresh water resources. Government need to ensure that that step are working.

Government need to clear water harvesting scheme. This scheme is made according to Indian people. Most of scheme are not applicable in whole india. 

India is dependent on mansoon. Our Agriculture is based on mansoon pattern. Some area have large amount of rain like north east area, wester ghatt etc. Some area is low amount of rain like western and southern Uttar Pradesh Rajasthan etc. Government river interconnected scheme like ken batwa river link project a step to solve this problem. There are certain issues on this project also like deforestation to link that river for making cannel.

Deforestation this a big problem which affects the human mankind. We depend on it. Our food system are based on it. Forest are give a oxygen which necessary for humankind. Forest are much role in the rain. Forest resist soil erosion. Forest give shelter to many animal. 

So we need to understand this problem and need a necessary effort to measure it and resolve it.  This give us a safe environment to us and our upcoming generation
