Everything quickly altered during the lockdown. We had to escape from circumstances that had never occurred before. Everything was initially disturbing, such as the lack of outdoor activities. Additionally, the information that the infection was spreading more widely caused us to feel completely depressed. Everything began to appear good and enjoyable gradually. Below are some of the key lessons we learned throughout the entire lockdown.
Time is Important - When the lockdown ended and life returned to normal, I became aware of how much time had passed. Many of us had many new things planned, but because of the situation, they were unable to finish them and were delayed.
Courage: The news channels broadcast regularly updated news of the Covid instances that were reported each day. Every day, we were internally jolted by the passing of friends, neighbors, or well-known individuals, as well as by good news. Days were passing in some way while you were scared and depressed about the future. As a result of our fortitude and adherence to safety precautions, we are valiantly battling the terrifying infection. We have the courage to battle and prevail because of the bad situation.
Healthy Living – I started using my hour of exercise each morning and evening. I was able to make my body fit in this way while also learning the value of fitness and exercise. We were instructed to consume an immunity-boosting diet and vitamins during the pandemic. It strengthened our immune system. Additionally, there was no market food accessible at the time, so we ate wholesome homemade cuisine.
Financial management - The government made the lockdown its first priority. We were only left with a small sum of money. During this time, many of us have not gotten pay, and many have lost our jobs. We now know how to control our spending and know how to spend money sensibly in emergency situations.
Realizing the Value of Family - The most of us have spent the lockdown at our homes with our families. We were able to spend enough time together as a family. I could see my mum working really hard all day. The experience taught us that family comes before all else in life.
Best Use of Time - We were given spare time for nearly two months, which was unprecedented before the Lockdown. I've planned a few new plants because I enjoy gardening and want to take good care of my garden. I also read some fiction because it helps me expand my vocabulary. My assistance with my mother's housework allowed her to unwind a little.
Better Planning and Management - The lockdown taught us to plan and manage our things during that time. We were not having the availability of all the things during lockdown but have learned to manage our resources in such a way that they last longer.
Protect our Nature - During the lockdown, there was a noticeable decrease in people's activities. 25% fewer automobiles are now on the road. As a result, the emissions decreased as well, which greatly helped to lower the amount of air pollution. As human activity was restrained at the time, nature recovered on its own. It teaches us not to overuse natural resources and not to take our own nature for granted. It serves as the other living things' habitat. The situation would not be this way if the same thing had been done in the past.
