Mug Pizza Recipe

Most of us (including me) love to eating well. However, cooking makes us think twice. And we end up either ordering food or get someone else to do the hard work. Sounds familiar?? Even I used to think that way, then one day I realized cooking is not that rocket science that I dreaded for years. All you need is a tiny bit of patience and passion for good food. Add in a bit of creativity and tada anyone can cook!

My objective is to convert that idea of mine into reality and tell you how easy and convenient it is to re-create those dishes you love. If I have come this far so can you. Trust me!

Who doesn't like to have a slice of pizza? Most of us generally order that online. Research shows it's one of the most ordered items along with Panipuri and Biryani since pandemic. How about I tell you that we can make a single-serve pizza in a mug that takes exactly ninety seconds in a microwave? Yes, you read that right. Ninety seconds. Sounds interesting? Let us do it.

Here is the first recipe for you guys to try. And don't forget to tell me how it went. Remember at first everything seems difficult then it is just easy. Wink wink!

You will need :

  • Plain Flour: ¼ cup
  • Baking Powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 pinch
  • Baking Soda: 1 pinch
  • Oregano/Pizza seasoning :1 teaspoon
  • Chilli Flakes: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk/water : 3 tablespoon
  • Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Pizza sauce (even ketchup would do the magic) :1 tablespoon
  • Veggies of your choice (chopped): 1 tablespoon (anything from bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, corn, mushrooms) Mix and match anything you like or have at home.
  • Chicken shreds/mini salami: 1 teaspoon (vegetarians can replace this with paneer or skip this)
  • Pizza Cheese (Mozzarella preferably): 1 tablespoon (shredded)

In a microwavable mug, mix the flour with salt, baking powder, baking soda, oregano, chili flakes, milk/water, and oil into a pasty consistency. Spread the sauce on it to cover it well. Then top with the mixed veggies of your choice. Add the meat/paneer. Cover with cheese.

Now put this in a microwave and bake on full power for ninety seconds. Carefully remove it (because the mug might be hot) and enjoy directly from the mug!!

This was even faster than choosing an online pizza and ordering it ? Isn't it. Try yourself and let me know how it went.

See you soon with another interesting recipe.
