She is an orphan, living with her aunt and her family, who mistreat her. Eun-tak unknowingly summons Kim Shin when she blows out the candles on her birthday cake, as she unknowingly recites a poem that is linked to him. Kim Shin realizes that Eun-tak may be the key to his salvation and begins to develop an interest in her.

The episode continues to showcase the initial encounters and interactions between Kim Shin, Eun-tak, and the Grim Reaper, who is now a government worker in the afterlife.
