Hello everyone!
This is my first blog!
Myself Sahana Burly and I'm highly passionate about writing. I also love to draw, paint and doodle. Proclaiming yourself as a writer is itself a glorious thing, it feels very special and also I believe that writing is a inbuilt ability that one could easily possess and I feel blessed to have such qualities within me!
As the title of my blog suggests, I indeed have immense passion for writing and mostly obsessed with writing poems. It's a refreshing activity which extremely helps in relieving the stress! Anyone can start of writing poems, with any kind of topic that comes to their mind, well that's not an insurmountable task to overcome but interest matters the most!
When I initially started to write poems, I had no or least idea about it, but when my first poem was lauded with applauses by my parents, teachers and friends, motivated me to write some more and I don't know how some more led to many more! That is when I learnt the skills of poetry. From then, I have a constant record of writing poems.
Here's one of my poem:
An Exciting Excursion
To make my journey memorable
I carried a book preferable!
The cool breeze hits the pages
As the train passes I could see some bridges and houses…
Having completely lost in the book
Was not able to forsook!
The only companion wherever I go…
It was indeed a wonderful scenario!!!
Shouting aloud comes a vendor
He was too kind and tender
Offering different set of snack
I purchased a peanut pack…
Enthralled by the beauty of nature!
The rail was as speed as a chaser…
Suddenly as it moved into the tunnel
Here comes the best moment of the travel!!!
Every beginning has an end
I wish it could extend!
There comes my junction…
And thereby my destination!!!
So, when you write you don't just write but you eventually grow a lot as person! Writing is just the gradual and a magical process that should be felt and enjoyed. Now that writing has become the part and parcel of my life, not a single day goes without writing. The passing of each day increases my interest for writing in abundance. Happiness is a choice for every individual and I choose to find such happiness in my poetries!!!
