What is Player Unknown Battleground?

PUBG has a classic battle royale setup. 100 players are dropped onto an island in teams of four and must scavenge resources and wipe out opponents until they are the last man standing.

As the game progresses, the "safe" zone gets smaller and smaller, making it increasingly difficult for the remaining players to survive.

You can play PUBG on most consoles including PC, although its mobile version is probably the most popular as it was previously the only free version. As of January 2022, PUBG is now available for free on all devices, although it still includes some paid items.
