The reason for the name Apple
While studying in school and college, Steve Jobs used to visit an apple orchard near his residence. That garden has seen all his happiness and sorrow. He met a girl named Brennan in college. This garden is also the place where they fall in love. He named his company 'Apple' to commemorate that spring. Even after the company was launched, Jobs regularly visited the orchard.
Steve Jobs started Apple Computer on April 1, 1976 with friends Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak. The company specializes in personal computer, electronics, products including 'i-Pad', 'i-Phone', 'i-Pod'.Apple computers run on the 'Mac OS X' operating system. Steve Jobs, who left Apple in 1985, started a computer company called "Next". In 1996, Apple brought Steve Jobs back.
Mac OS (Mac OS) is a series of operating systems based on Apple's graphical user interface for Macintosh-type computers. The Macintosh user is credited with popularizing the graphical user interface. By 1984, it was completely integrated with the computer in Macintosh and was called system software.
Since its inception, Apple has been adamant that its operating system should be such that users can use the computer without any knowledge of the operating system. Tasks that required in-depth knowledge of their functionality on other operating systems were accomplished on Macintosh with intuitive mouse gestures and graphical control pads. The aim was to make the application pleasant to the user and easy to learn. Thus it tried to differentiate itself from other software in the market. Competing software, Microsoft's DOS operating system, was technically more difficult.
The kernel of the operating system was stored in a ROM; The updates were provided free of charge by Apple agents on floppy disks to users. This enables platform upgrades to be accomplished with minimal user involvement. It was also easier to set up than competing software's upgrade systems. Starting with System 7.5, Apple abandoned this method and turned software development into a separate revenue stream
