Hello everyone one. Today's topic is the most relevant to everyone. Just sometime before i read a blog written by Sheetal Thakur ma'am about “our T.V needs to be upgraded”. It's an relatable write up and shows the factual situation about nowadays TV shows. I'll suggest you all to read that ones. After that you ll come to know about what I am going to talk about in this blog. 

                 Today's TV shows are unrealistic and full of typical, boring stories which are on going since years. But other than these there are some channels which are based on different themes. Such as Discovery channel, Food Food , History Tv, Epic channel,etc etc. Today, in this blog I am going to tell you about an epic channel whose name is ' EPIC ' only. Most of us are not known about this channel. Just as the name Epic,  the programs showed on this channel are also epic.

       The ‘EPIC’ channel is a theme based channel. Its based on India, Indian culture, Indian food, India's tradition, Indian sculpture, it's architecture, it's development, it's currency , history , mythology, trades, business , sports , etc etc. Let's talk about shows in detail.

1. Food Shows :-                                                                                a) Raja, Rasoi, or kahaniyan :- This show is hosted by famous chef Ranbeer Barar. So as the name suggest, Ranbeer prepares various royal dishes which were made for royal families only. Along with that he narrates the story behind each dish and element used to made the recipe. The authenticity of the dishes are especially maintained.                               b) Lost Recipes :-                      Lost Recipes, the recipes lost in the parts of India. The mani focus of this show is to put light on the recipe which are not found nowadays. The host travels to the local parts of India in search of such lost and original recipes.               c) Tyohaar ki thali :-                   This food show is hosted by Sakshi Tanwar. In this show she highlights the dishes prepared in various festivals in India. It may come any region of India. Thalis prepared on diwali, Holi, Ganesh pooja etc along with so many unique and rare festival dishes, she narrates the mythology as well as scientific stories behind every festival thalis.                         One more food related show is “Ithas ki thali”.

2. Historical Place Related Shows:- 

a) Sanrachna :- The great history related to various architecture, structure, sculpture and etc are shown. Visits are given various marvelous and increadible places which have great history related to town management, civil planning , and other many aspects of such places.                   b) Ekant   :- Ekant is about historical forts and palaces of kings and royal families. It also includes the history of each place they explores. Every single detail is given along with its story.           C) Kahi Suni :- This show is mainly based on temples and other historical places, their structure, there stories. Special about this show is interaction with the local people about the place and know about the region understandings about that place.                     

3. Devotional :-

a) Sharanam  :- Sharanam, the show is hosted by Juhi Chawla. Various temples, God, Goddess, the Prasads prepared in specific temple, the devotees, theri devotion, thoughts and stories narrated by people are the main focus of this show.

b) Devlok :-                                              The show host is Devdut Pattnaik. The Indian culture and its retuals are discussed in the show. Devdut also tells the stories behind every ritual along with their scientific reason.

              The channel is full of knowledgeable things and how incredible India is in every aspect of life. Describing about every show over here is not possible so I'll mention names of shows so that it will be helpful for you to choose one which you like. But for me each and every show on EPIC channel is favourite.

There are lot of shows on EPIC which are full of knowledge and Glories and incredible this about our country. The information about our country which is not known by us or hidden in this fast world. This Channel will make you stop and will make you watch all its shows not only sake of entertainment but also knowledge to be gained. EPIC can be loved by all including children , teenagers, adults , olds each and every one.                                                                                                            EPIC will let you know about India, will make you fall in love with it, will make you proud as an Indian.
