Hello
Welcome all to my blog. The topic is Different fruits here are some
Durian
Durians grow primarily in Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. The name durian originally comes from the Malay word "duri" which means "thorn" of the fruit.
Durian pulp is an excellent source of various nutrients essential to human nutrition. It is rich in vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin C, a natural antioxidant, and health-promoting B-complex vitamins such as folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin B6.
It also contains a good amount of minerals like potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus.
Pitaya or dragon fruit
Dragon fruit is a food that grows on a climbing cactus called Hylocereus, which you can find in tropical regions around the world. The plant's name comes from the Greek word hyle, meaning woody, and the Latin word cereus, meaning waxy.
Dragon fruit is juicy with a slightly sweet flavor that some describe as a cross between a kiwi, a pear, and a watermelon. The seeds have a nutty taste.
Dragon fruit has many potential health benefits, including:
Lychee or rambutan
Lychee (Litchi chinensis), also spelled lychee or lichi, evergreen tree in the soapberry family (Sapindaceae) grown for its edible fruit. The taste of the fresh pulp is aromatic and musky, and the dried pulp is sour and very sweet.
Kiwano or horned melon.
Also known as African horned cucumber or jelly melon, kiwano is a tropical fruit native to Africa, Australia and some islands in the Pacific. It is a member of the cucumber family. It is also sometimes called the orange prickly fruit because when ripe, its skin is orange and covered with prickly spores. The interior of the fruit contains jelly-like pulp and edible seeds.
The nutrients and antioxidants found in Kiwano offer numerous health benefits, including:
Gold kiwifruit
The kiwifruit, or Chinese gooseberry, originally grew wild in China. Kiwis are a nutrient-dense food — they are rich in in nutrients and low in calories.
