Different people have different behavior and absolutely different style or way to react to certain things.
However, there are people who follow and copy other people which may or may not be their real personalities. The question I want to ask here is Why we call someone weird if that person is different from others or their approach towards a certain thing is different?
Let me start with an example- most of the people are cricket lovers or they are extremely knowledgeable about cricket be it the schedule of all types of matches, who are the team players, which all country have who all players in their team, which match was won by which country, who is the caption of which country team and many more other things.
But will I be called weird if I say I am not much into cricket or I have very minimum or nill knowledge of it? Well, I have seen people who have given such reactions when I said I don't know who all are the players in Indian except the popular ones who are very much into media and all like Kohli and all.
I have been said things like how weird you are or what kind of a man you are who is not interested in Cricket or who doesn't watch cricket and many more things like this. But the simple thing I am unable to understand is how does being a man make it mandatory to watch cricket?
There are women who are very much into cricket even more than a man. How come it is right to judge or pass these sexist comments to someone who has a different choice or different interest than yours. They might like something else which is not at all mandatory to match the interest or choices of everyone.
How come these things make someone weird? These people are not weird but they just have different choices than yours.
So, stop calling out someone weird, and instead, it would be great if you can change your mentality and be more open-minded. Allow people to be who they are and they would do so if you all will stop making such comments and pressurize them to be like others because they would not be like others, they will surely be called weird.
At last you are allowed to make opinion but not pass them on.
