Do we understand the simple concept of living life instead of planning it? Why do we think about the future to which we have no hold on? Why just can't enjoy the moment we have instead of imagining a future moment to enjoy which we are not even sure we will ever have?
We, humans, are literally so strange people. We know that we don't know we will have the next moment of our life or not but still plan about the future. We save money for future plans instead of not spending it to enjoy the current moment. Isn't it strange, that we are saving for the moment we have no guarantee of having it?
We went to the shopping mall and loved this particular dress and we have the money to buy it but we are not buying it. Why because we are saving it for a future plan.
Our friends made a trip plan and asked us to join them. We have the money but we are not going because we saving for something we can buy in the future.
I am not saying, don't save. Definitely, do but don't do it at the cost of your current moment which you and you don't know whether you will get the moment again or not.
Life is a journey and happy are those who are taking it like that. Some people do a lot of planning about what they will do in the future and in that planning they forget to live their present. The memories they could have created with their friends, families, or loved ones because they were busy planning something they knew nothing about. In the whole process of planning something which is not in our control, we lost something that was our and that could have been a beautiful memory for a lifetime.
This pandemic has taught us a lot that how uncertain life is. People who planned so much are not alive anymore. Their plans, savings, and everything is of no use anymore.
So, always remember only try to plan things that are in your control which you think you can control and are certain that you will have but don't waste your precious life to plan something you have no control over.
Last but not least never forget, Life is meant to enjoy not to plan.
