Isn't we say that our daughter in law is our daughter do but do we actually mean it?

 I don't think so because when this thing is in our favour, then we say oh she is not our daughter in law but our own daughter. But at the same time when it comes to give the right what we give to our daughter, suddenly we start seeing that same daughter as our daughter in law and use statements like- You are daughter in law not daughter so don't behave like one or you have to do all the house chores because you are the daughter in law and so many other things. But why we just forget that she is only one who came new to the family but rest of the member are still same. And just because she came from another family, now she is doing all the household work for all the  people. Isn't this totaly wrong? Why we can't help her in the chores? Why we can't ask her to rest sometime and let the daughter do the work? Why she can't deny for your work and focus on self? Why she is not allowed to think for self and not just caring about others all the time? Why she is not allowed to say no? Why we can't just give the love and care she deserves because she is the one who is always working for you people and never even demands anything in return but just the love and respect.

Some of the families are so blessed that they got a daughter in law who loves and cares for them even more than their own daughter but we still ignore her efforts or care because she is our daughter in law not daughter. We all need to stop having this hypocrite thinking and we must value and respect her the way she deserves not the way we think she deserves. She has left her family behind to join this new family and she is not just living with you but doing everything to make you all happy. She takes your permission to visit her own home while you all are living with the ones you love. 

So, if you ever have this thought of seeing her as a daughter in law just think that you daughter will also be someone else's daughter in law ond day. With that note, I hope that in the coming time equality will be all over. 

No father will be worried about finding a better groom for her daughter.
