Don't Believe Every Stupid Thing You Hear!!

In today's generation, people will believe in every stupid thing that they hear. People today want news that excites them and don't care about how it will affect the atmosphere around them.

For instance, there are many people who believe that climate change is not real. Many people believes that our world isn't degrading and keeps on spreading pollution around.

For another, I have even seen many fake protest happening around the world so bad, that they affect them in the worst way possible.

This has affected our mentality in such a way that we believe mostly anything that comes in front of eyes. Every fake news that is being spread around the world gets caught by our eyes way faster than the true one.

I most recently saw a documentary on Netflix called 'the social dilemma'. The documentary revolves around the fact of how the social media companies make us use their apps more and more.

There is one part in it that tells about how a fake news spreads faster than the true one on social media. I definitely recommend you to watch it and if you did, then please comment your favorite part.

A little experiment

I once heard about an experiment about monkeys. In that experiment, six monkeys were locked into a cage and there was a ladder to a banana hanging on the roof of the cage.

As soon as any monkey climbs the ladder and grabs the banana, a shower rains on them. After some time, every monkey realized this and stopped climbing the ladder.

Then, one monkey was replaced, as soon as the monkey saw the banana, he tried to grab it. But, other monkeys pulled him down and beated him. This continued for a while.

Then one by one, every monkey was replaced with other ones who didn't even knew about what would happen if they grab the banana. All of them pulled down any monkey who climbed the ladder and beated him.

The story here shows that, people would believe anything others say to them if they push it towards you. If people tell you anything with harshness, you would believe it, because you are scared that if you do that, then people would demean you.

Although in the above experiment, the monkeys were beating others for a good reason, but they didn't even know what they are doing. This type of thing can easily be used to manipulate someone into doing something bad.

In today's world, people literally will believe anything that is said to them in confidence. People today want something which can entertain them, even if it is something which can harm you or the society in any way.

Finally, I would just say that don't believe in everything you hear. I'm not saying don't believe your own parents, but something said to you by a stranger or news channels or social media.

Stay safe, Stay healthy. Be on a lookout!!
