Hey fellas…! Hope all are doing well, stay safe, stay away from the crowd, stay positive. It's been a while since penning, busy hanging up with friends and mates. The hobby of being a good listener has helped me in observing their story and adding a pinch of imagination to make it a good read. And here we go, a true superwoman who came up with her own story of how she grew up seeing her supermom. 

“I was at 5th or 6th standard, I don't remember exactly… but it was my birthday” 

My family was struggling back then, we had debts around, both my parents were working in different parts of the city, and my sibling went to the nearest school. My supermom has to catch the first bus of the day to register in biometric of the showroom she worked… 

“ I was sleeping till it's late for the school… and when I woke up… mom has already gone for her shift”

Supermom- that's how I wish to call her… because her real name was criticized by some of my friends… though I have revealed it only to my close circle… She got 4000 as her monthly pay…I wasn't even at the age to understand how much money my parents earned, as a school kid what I expected was a warm kiss in the early morning from my mom on the very special day of the year… and to wish me with her cheeky cute smile… make me dressed and fasten me to school… that's all I expected and when I woke up… she was Missing…

“ Her shift starts at 9 am… to be at the showroom at sharp 9, she must take the earliest bus possible”

“Happy Birthday” wished my friends in school… even my dad didn't care to wish me on the day… he didn't even know how much I cursed him on that day…

Fortunately, it was the payday for my mom… and with the little pay we have to manage with monthly needs and rent and all basic requirements… but will a 6th-grade girl know these??? 

“It was around 8 pm and I was sitting in my home waiting for my supermom to come, I made the dinner for our family, and dad was away for some work… this wonderful woman came smiling to me… Woww…… I could still remember her face she came to me on that day… She caressed my hair… Happy Birthday, my girl” she said…

She opened her bag… I now realize the situation back then… struggling to earn and satisfying little daughter's expectations are a big deal to be made… She struggled and satisfied me… isn't it appropriate to call her supermom… 

In that bag… she took a cover… when unwrapped… I found a purple watch and box which had a single piece of cake" she came near me… took a piece of cake and asked me to open my mouth as every south Indian mom says to….. “Aaah kaatu”….
