Hansika Motwani (born August 9, 1991) is an Indian actress and former child actress.  He primarily appears in Tamil and Telugu films and also appears in some Hindi and Kannada films. He was born in Mangalore, India.  His father Pradeep Modwani is a businessman and his mother Mona Modwani is a dermatologist.[1]  Although Hansika`s mother tongue is Sindhi, she is fluent in Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, English, Hindi, Tulu and Tamil.  He was educated at Bodar International School in Mumbai.Hansika started her television career with a serial called Shakkalaka Boom Boom (a story about a boy named Sanju and his magic pencil).  At the same time, Hansika acted as a child star in the Indian serial Tes Mein Nikla Hoga Saanath.  For this he received the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivar Awards.  He also acted as one of the children in the movie Koi Mil Gaya.

Hansika made her debut as a female lead opposite Allu Arsun in Puri Jagannath's Telugu film Deshamuduru.  It is a film about a crime reporter who falls in love with a Sanyasi.  It featured Hansika as a Sanyasi.[2]

Hansika made her Bollywood debut as a leading actress in Ap Ka Saroor - The Real Love Story opposite Imesh Reshimmiya.  In it, Imesh played the role of Rhea, Reshimia's girlfriend.  The film released on 29 June 2007 and was a moderate success.  He was later signed on to play a murderous assassin bent on revenge for his family in a Hindi film titled He: The Only One,[3] which was dropped midway through.She acted in the Kannada film Bindas with Puneeth Rajkumar.  The film released on 15 February 2008 and is Hansika's only Kannada film so far.  In May 2008, she starred opposite Jr. NTR in the film Country.  The film was a moderate success.  She also played an important role opposite Ram in the Telugu film Maska.

She made her Tamil debut by acting in the movie Mappillai opposite actor Dhanush.  Later he acted in Tamil movies like Engyum Kaadhal, Velayutham, Oru Kal Oru Geemram.Hansika made her debut in Tamil cinema with Mappillai.  His next Tamil film Engyum Kaadhal was a hit.  [10] In the same year she acted in the film Velayutham with Vijay.  [11]

In 2012, he had two releases, one in Tamil and one in Telugu.  Her first release was M. Rajesh's romantic comedy Oru Kal Oru Grym, which became her first runaway hit and received positive reviews for her performance.  [12] In Telugu, she featured in Tenikaina Reddy, which also received a positive response from the public.  [13] She received her first Best Actress nomination at the 60th Filmfare Awards South for her performance in the films.  In 2013, she appeared in four Tamil films, including Chettai, [14] Sundar C.'s Thea Esekeynum Kumaru.  Hari's Singham II [15] starring Suriya and Venkat Prabhu's Biryani with Suriya's brother Karthi.  He had five releases in 2014, two of which were Telugu films, the comedy Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda [16] and the action-masala film Power.  [17] His Tamil releases include the fantasy film Maan Karate with Sivakarthikeyan, [18] the horror comedy Palace with Sundar C. [19] and the action thriller Meekhamn.  [20]

Ambala, his third collaboration with Sundar C, was his first 2015 release.  Her second film that year was Romeo and Juliet, which marked her second film with Jayam Ravi.  She also appeared in Valu with Silambarasan.
