Good day guys ! In today's blog i am going to share one of the poems i recently read .It was completely amazing and motivating ,so i thought i will share it with you guys might help . so let's get into it . 

The name of the poem is “ ROLL THE DICE ” . 

This lively poem was written by “ CHARLES BUKOWSKI ”. He was a German - American poet .  He was not only known for his poetry works but also very well known for his novels , short story etc. His poems reflects his regretful childhood and his uncivilized lifestyle .

The poem “ ROLL THE DICE ” primarily says that if one takes a goal he must be sure at it , that he will face every situation to overcome and accomplish it . There is no point in starting a goal and quitting in the middle .

The above lines states that one must be sure about what he does and to do it completely .  we know it may not be easy as it looks , but we have to put our soul and mind together to make it work . 

this could mean losing girlfriends

wives,relatives,jobs and

may be your mind.

Bukowski here refers that we may loose everything everything that we are closed to , things that we are strongly connected to . In the journey to our desired destination we may or may not lose things , but we must be ready to leave them behind . we should believe that it is not permanent .  Everything that tests our inner patience should be overcome .

 The above line explains that after facing those  painful circumstances and regretful moments but at the time of achievement , the feeling that one get is precious and no other thing can give it . the taste of success is always unique and hard to obtain .

I think that this is the most powerful line of the poem  that accurately conveys the gest of the poem . 

you will alone with the gods

and the lights will flame with 

fire.

these lines says that, after everything we will be all alone in our path of success , we will be moulded into a version that is best of us . we will be working with all our spirit which will be the only company for us in the nights . 

and still smiling 

because 

iam doing it !   

And to the finals lines of the poem . above all , the happiness that one gain of doing their interest is all matters . 

On the whole , this poem conveys an inspirational lesson to the readers . the lines of this poem are so simple and meaningful that everyone can understand .
