Hey guys , welcome back to my daily blogs . Hope you all had a great day .  This blog will be  on the account of world pharmacist day , which was on Saturday . So i will brief you guys about the theme and history of this day . Let's get into it .

World pharmacists day is celebrated on September 25 each year to realize the positive roles played by the pharmacists and the impact created by them in protecting health . This day encourages the activities of pharmacists in playing a vital role in taking care of health of billions of people all over the world .  Pharmacists are the pillars for people's medical intakes which keeps them healthy and safe .

History behind this day :

 INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL FEDERATION [ FIP ] council is the main reason behind is world pharmacist day , which is located at  Istanbul during the year 2009 . FIP is the head council which represents the whole pharmacy related schemes , education and science together . FIP have its head quarters in Netherlands representing all the pharmacy fields , education and science all over the world  . The specific date is because ,  on september 25 th 1912 , the world pharmacy congress was formed .so the Turkish members of the council wanted to declare world pharmacist day on every  September 25 th .

The theme of 2021 :

This year , world pharmacists was assigned by the theme - “ Pharmacy : always trusted for your health ”  . The theme states that trust is the nuclear part of every human relationships and it is also highly needed in the health care field . because , beyond all the medications , trust is something that hangs the patients confidence to overcome their problems by believing in them .

Pharmacists says that , when patients puts their trust in health care professionals like doctors or pharmacists ,  they co - operate  relatively better to their treatments and the success rates of curing them gets higher . 

Significance of world pharmacist day :

Pharmacy field is really important one , in all our lives . it links medical terms and science with chemistry in fixed ratios and delivers to us . They are associated with the works of handling medical drugs with proper measures and makes sure its safe for the people starting from the production till the disposal of those .  the day is celebrated to recognize the work done by them and to stand by their side , supporting them and to create awareness .

So guys , pharmacists are really great and under rated , right ? they are really doing a great jobs and celebrating a day for them is real good .
