We are constantly exposed to harmful microbes in our daily life. We couldn't live a healthy life if it wasn't our Immune system. Our immune system identifies the foreign body entering our bodies and protect us against their harmful effect. These foreign bodies include viruses, bacteria and parasites. Our immune system does so much for our healthy well being, its our responsibility to strengthen its power. Here are some foods that'll help boost your immune system…

  1. Kalonji or black seed

Kalonji is an extra ordinary spice rich in antioxidants and is known for it's therapeutic use since ages. It is known to be a cure for every known and unknown disease. Its strengthen the immune system if taken 8-10 seeds every morning empty stomach. 

2. Raw vinegar

Raw vinegar is completely different from the white vinegar available in market, that's mostly use in Chinese food. This raw vinegar when consumed with warm water clears your esophagus lining and makes sure there's no pathogen present inside the cavity that might enter your lungs. Make sure you drink the water in such a way that it enters directly in your throat ,not coming in contact with your teeth. Or you can drink normally and then rinse your mouth well with plain water to avoid erosion of teeth.

3. Vitamin C

Foods rich in vitamin C not just helps you with immunity, also it improves the skin and hair health. Fruits like oranges, lemon, pineapple and berries are rich in vitamin C. The best time to consume these fruits is after sunrise till 12pm in the afternoon. The capacity of our bodies to absorb vitamin C is highest in the morning.

4. Onions

Onions have a compound called Quercetin that is antibacterial . Eating it raw helps in killing the bacteria or any other foreign particle present in the body. You can also pair it up with Raw vinegar. Just slice an onion and sprinkle some vinegar onto it.

5. Banana and Egg

Banana and egg both are protein rich foods. Protein is essential to our bodies to keep it strong and working. Protein not only strengthen the muscles of your body, it also strengthen the immune system. Morning is the best time to consume this combination of egg and banana. Drinking milk along with this combo would mean a cherry on the top. 

6. Dates

Dates are known to be the king of all fruits, and every home should have this at home all the time. Its benefits are countless. Adding dates in your diet makes your tummy full even if you have consumed less food the particular day, and also keeps your immunity level at peak throughout the day.
