Welcome to my blog .
There can be no great accomplishment without risk . This statement was made by Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the moon . The above statement means that great accomplishments do not come easily and we have to work hard , take risks , fail and rise again to achieve one goals .
Let's understand this better with the help of a beautiful story of ARVIND.
Arvind was an intelligent boy , born in a poor family . His father was a rickshaw puller, who used to run his house with great difficulties and his mother was sweeper in particular shop . Arvind was the youngest among his siblings unlike his brothers and sisters, he had lofty dreams.
His father made him work in a dhaba since he had strong desire to study , the owner of dhaba allowed him to study for three hours in the daytime in a school being run in his colony by an NGO. But for this act of kindness , arvind has to pay by working three hours extra in the evening .
Totally exhausted but having a burning desire to achieve his dreams , he used to study for hours at night before going to bed . He started burning mid light lamp. When he passed his class 10th exams from open school with good Mark's, the dhaba owner forbade him from studying.
He left that job and joined a factory where he worked in the night shift . He then began to study in the daytime and working at night . After doing his 12th and then graduation , everyone in his family asked him to take up a job but …….
but he took a loan from a bank and stated a small dhaba of his own meanwhile he joined a course in Hotel Management. Though initially he was looked down upon his classmates, but soon he got the admiration and respect he deserved . When they learnt about the struggle he had made to reach there .
Here is a risk he has taken ….
After he got his Hotel management degree, he took a risk , he sold his dhaba and went abroad for further studies. There he joined a hotel , learnt all the nuances of hotel business, made some money and started a small restaurant there , offering indian cuisine . The restaurant became a craze with the Indians and the foreigners alike . Thereafter he never looked back and built a huge chain of restaurants in india and in abroad too .
Had he not taken a risk of selling his dhaba and going abroad , he would not have achieved the heights he gained .
