In this blog we will talk about transgender and why sex education is important. Transgender are people who differs from the sex that they were assigned at birth. They are also known as third gender, gay lesbian etc.

ender expression refers to the way a person communicates gender identity to others through behavior, clothing, hairstyles, voice or body characteristics.

"Trans" is sometimes used as shorthand for "transgender." While transgender is generally a good term to use, not everyone whose appearance or behavior is gender-nonconforming will identify as a transgender person.

Whenever we think of sex education, only one thought arises in our mind that if sex education is included then rape cases will decrease, overall we associate sex education with rape. Few days back I saw a transgender speech in youtube and realized that in our country not only girls are suffering from discrimination but also transgender.

Sex education is important in many ways. A girl's condition is much better than a transgender. Transgenders are locked out of the house by their own parents. Had their parents known about the reason behind being transgender, their life would be much better. Many Transgender face discrimination in the workplace, health scetor or in public places.

According to Olson, "We don't know what causes someone to be transgender, but what we're learning as we're putting the pieces together is that there are likely many factors. Genetics, hormones or other elements likely play a role.

As Indians are getting educated, they are changing their perspective. The day is not far when transgenders are not kicked out by their own parents and we will not feel awkward seeing transgenders around us and we will not make fun of them.
