Vande Bharat Train Chennai to Coimbatore: The 20643/20644 MGR Chennai Central - Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to flag off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Chennai Station on April 8. This is South India's second and India's 12th semi-high-speed train.

The train will have eight coaches including one executive coach and can accommodate 530 people.The trial run was carried out successfully and the train left on its return journey from Coimbatore at 12.24 PM with railway officials, including Salem Railway Division Manager Pankaj Kumar Sinha, on board, the sources said.Chennai Central Railway Station is a major train station. Chennai’s main railway station links to significant Indian cities. Modern amenities and good connections make the station enjoyable for travellers.

Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore Railway Station is also important. It’s strategically located and easily accessible to the nation’s biggest cities. With waiting for lounges, snack booths, and bookstalls, the station is modern.The Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express will launch on April 8, 2023. Indian Railways has not issued the train schedule. The daily drive from Chennai to Coimbatore will take a few hours.This Train ran except Wednesday.It is One of the Prominent and Eminent train India,but its cost is very high.It reduce the voyage time and high efficency.

This train is the first vande bharat train Tamil Nadu.This Train manufactured by ICF.ICF  means Integral Coach Factory Chennai.

It is fully denoting Green Energy.Because our upcoming future is green energy and it is reduced the pollution and cost.According to Southern Railways, the Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) installed six coaches for the facility. The Southern railways had not released the official timeline and stoppage details at the time of filing the report

The trial run of the much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Chennai Central and Coimbatore was held on Thursday. The train left the M.G. Ramachandran Central Railway Station at 5.40 a.m. and reached Coimbatore at 11:15 a.m.

A Southern Railway official said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would flag off the train in Chennai on April 8. During the trial, technical issues were previewed by the officials and they would be rectified. This indigenously-designed train was equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.

“The fares are yet to be determined and will be done soon,” the official said.

According to Southern Railways, the Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) installed six coaches for the facility. The Southern railways had not released the official timeline and stoppage details at the time of filing the report.

Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee member K. Jayaraj said, “The amenities will be flight-like, but the fare will, hopefully, be nominal enough for passengers, especially those who frequently use omnibus services. The speed of the train, at present, is estimated to be 110km per hour. If an aggressive timetable is followed, this can be increased to 130 km/hr. Further, similar to omnibus services, more boarding and deboarding points can be added before bulleting towards the destination. Coimbatore North and Tambaram stations can serve as additional boarding points.”
