As we all know, India is a country where men are dominating in all spheres and women are forced to care for their families alone, live at home, and adhere to a number of other restrictions. The whole growth of India depends on the half of the population—women who are still oppressed by a number of social abuse instances and who only safeguard about 50% of the country's population.

Formerly, men determined that women's roles in society included taking care of the home, getting married early, and putting up with various sorts of violence while they were married. In India nowadays, unlike in the past, women leave the home to work and make a living to support themselves and their family. Hence, even the laws and ways of doing things in the modern world must change. Naturally, this change won't happen suddenly; change always happens gradually. Recognizing their importance to the economy and giving them more opportunity must be the first step. Whether it in the business, IT, Edutech, culinary, legal, financial, creative, or performing arts sectors.

The 21st century is at its height right now. We discuss each person's freedom and equality. This idea, however, doesn't really address the core issues. Despite several efforts to promote mutual respect for gender roles in society, there is frequently a large gap between men and women. The orthodox tradition that has continued to exist in the furthest reaches of the globe occasionally minimises the role of women. It becomes crucially vital in this circumstance to talk frankly about the subject and allow the truth to be known. No issue in the world is insurmountable if we discuss it openly and shed the required light on it.

The hierarchy and male-dominated cultural structure—the root of immoral behaviours against women—must be understood and eliminated if Indian culture is to truly empower women. Together with democratic principles and other legal requirements, it must be open-minded to modify the outdated views of women.

The participation of women in decision-making, which must be improved, is the most important aspect in socioeconomic progress. Research has shown that women's empowerment has the ability to promote economic growth and further development. We must all take into account how our cultural, traditional, and societal standards impact women in leadership roles if we are to end that pattern.

The pressure that women experience on a social, cultural, and domestic level is the major obstacle to gender equality. Parents and society place a lot of expectation on women to provide for the entire family. Women's job expectations are lower than men's because of pressure from society and families.
