Hi all here am going to share some information about how we are consuming water in our day to day life .By the way shall we start from day till night ,from we use a lots of water for ex.. brushing our teeth bathing , cooking ,cleaning,..xtr..
USEAGE OF DRINKING WATER :
Different amounts of drinking water are advised for people each day. Activity, age, health, and surroundings all have a role. Based on median intakes, the Adequate Intake for total water in the United States is 4.0 litres.
WHERE WATER COMES FROM:
In addition to existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid forms, water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen. Since water is a substance that is both abundant and necessary, it is used extensively by humans and serves as a home for plants and animals. Water is a liquid on Earth's surface under normal circumstances. Water from the oceans can move through the atmosphere and condense and feed life inland because it can be easily converted into a vapors or gas.
CONSUMPTION OF CONTAMINITAED UNDERGROUND WATER:
An estimated 60 million people have been poisoned by well water tainted by high fluoride levels that leached from granite boulders. Children's bone deformities are a prime example of the impacts. Other nations including Ethiopia, China, and Uzbekistan are expected to face comparable or more serious issues. Fluoride, while beneficial for dental health in small doses, disrupts the development of new bone when ingested in excessive quantities.
When drinking water with a high fluoride concentration (> 1.5 ppm F) for an extended period of time, children may develop bone abnormalities, enamel mottling, and dental fluorosis, among other major negative effects. The degree of fluorosis is influenced by dietary and physical activity habits, as well as the amount of fluoride in the water.
HOW MUCH WATER DO WE NEED :
You lose water every day through perspiration, bowel motions, urine, and breath. You must refill your body's water supply with foods and beverages if you want it to function properly.
So what is the typical fluid need for a healthy adult residing in a temperate climate? According to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine of the United States, a sufficient daily consumption of fluids is:
For men, around 15.5 cups (3.7 litres) of fluid every day
For women, around 11.5 cups (2.7 litres) of fluid every day
These guidelines apply to liquids from food, drink, and other sources. Foods account for about 20% of the daily fluid intake, with beverages making up the remaining amount.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF WATER :
Water comprises around 50% to 70% of your body weight and is the primary chemical component of your body. Water is necessary for your body to survive.
Your body needs water for every cell, tissue, and organ to function correctly. Water, for instance:
eliminates wastes by sweating, bowel motions, and urination.
Maintains a stable body temperature
cushions and lubricates joints.
safeguards delicate tissues
Dehydration is a condition that arises when the body does not contain enough water to perform its regular processes. It can be caused by a lack of water. Even a slight dehydration can cause fatigue and a loss of vitality.
