Despite being a part of the computer network and technology keyboards play a significant role in the development of typical knowledge and experience being acquired by millions of users. Desktop keyboards are organized according to the model of that traditional typewriter which was considered one of the most popular keyboards of the past century.  To make it more effective and efficient keyboards are typically have developed for inputting different types of letters, texts, and characters. Mechanical Keyboard and Membrane Keyboard both are major pieces of equipment for a computer network.   • These keyboards are more expensive than membrane keyboards
  • These keyboards do not have a layer of rubber those have in membrane keyboards
  • These keyboards are heavier than membrane keyboards.

Membrane Keyboards:

  •  Membrane keyboards are much lighter and smoother than mechanical keyboards
  • It composed of a rubber layer rather than a switch
  • Processing of keys is not easier than a mechanism 
  • This keyboard did not produce sound by clicking on it.
  • These keyboards are economical but not expensive like a mechanical keyboards
