MacDonald Lake is the largest pristine lake located along the shoreline of the Glaciar National Park in Montana City. A geographical diverse lake located at the place of coordinates of 48°35' N to 113°55' W. A naturalistic landscape of the lake has a dramatic combination of erosional features of the glaciar activities. Length of the lake is 10 miles long and 1.6 km width. Lies at the elevation of 3153 feet m situated along with the western edge of the Continental Divide( a mountainous hydrological cycle drive of the United States. Surface area of the beautiful lake is 27 sq.km long and depth of the lake is 472 ft deep inclination.
Pristine lake is the home of trout freshwater fishes species closely related to salmon and char origin of fish species. Fish catchable species like black spotted trout, red throated trout.
