Part One Of 2022

Here we are close to the end of the first half of 2022. A lot has happened. A LOT. Irrespective of the current circumstances, a lot of good and interesting things have happened I believe, and it feels like the good things are happening so soon because we deserve them. Here is a sneak peek of how Part One of 2022 went so far and that will be shared month-wise.

  • The New Year began while we still had the hang-over of the horrendous year 2021 where everything was a disappointment, even the Christmas didn't do well. Even though nothing was happening at the beginning, I felt optimistic like a lot was meant to happen and will happen at the right time. The highlight of the month was my cousin's wedding towards the end of January where we all had a good time and before the wedding, we were all freaking out because of the omicron outburst and the cases were rising and w the wedding was planned by looking upon the cases and the chances of being at the peak and so we were all trying to be extra careful till the wedding gets over. But in the end, it all went well and we had a really good time. So that is the highlight of January.
  • The month of February began with few not-so-good news, I was tested covid positive and was home quarantined for ten days thereby missing classes which I have missed already because of the wedding. I got it from my father who got it when he went to get tested for travel purposes and because of the result, he had to stay back while I was at Kochi and I had a feeling that I would have covid and that's what happened. The sore throat was the only concern and otherwise, it was fine. I was tested negative on Valentine's Day and to celebrate my cure, I went on a solo date.
  • I have got mixed feelings for 2022 March as it was Moody as well as Mediocre. I have got a lot of pressure in finishing a project which I started in December and the reason for the delay was me being out of the station and also the covid situation because of which I have missed a lot of things. And that's when I decided to call it quits and so I did right after I finished what I started. It wasn't hard to make that decision because I didn't have a solid reason to stay back. Another highlight was the deletion of my Instagram account due to a technical glitch by Instagram itself. Even though I freaked out, I saw it as an opportunity or a sign of starting afresh and to see the right ones who would stay this time and not like those who were before. I made an account a week after I lost the original one and am currently thriving on it, the main one is gone, maybe it is meant to be. Yet another highlight was I got to see my favourite actor as close as possible but not too close where I could ask for a selfie or an autograph.
  • April began with my best friend's arrival to Kochi which I never thought would have happened even though I hoped it to happen and since he was in Kerala for a reason I asked him to drop by after his work and that's what he did. Even though it was only for three days, it was still fun, and wished it to be longer. Post that, my family arrived in Kerala and I went during Easter and the anniversary. I also got a car to practice driving and did some rounds when I was home. I still need practice and it is not only about the vehicle but where I am driving and I still think I need a knack for the terrain. Another highlight of the month is that I have seriously started working on my next plan and that in a way makes me feel responsible.
  • May is supposed to be the motivating month of the year and this time it was a mixture of motivation and laziness. There was a lack of consistency that resulted in the loss of some opportunities. That was also the month I hit the gym even though I have been planning for it and after my family pointed out that I was fat which made me look at the mirror for an assurance. It was hard initially and I was also inconsistent at the gym because of the weather and feeling unwell. During the month-end, my best friend came again and this time we had a lot of fun than before and explored a lot of other places which we missed last time.
  • June is definitely the best month of the half-year so far. Not because it is my birthday month but then the way things are unfolding and there is hope in everything even though the initial weeks were hectic. The main highlight of the month is definitely the solo trip and I had the best time ever and that is the highlight of the year, I would say. I know I haven't mentioned my solo trip in a different blog. I promise I will do it before the month ends. There is still one more day.

So far, the year has been going good and I am not saying 2022 Part One had been good throughout but still there are really moments to be cherished and lessons to be learned during this time, and intuition says that if we do our part well, 2022 is certainly going to be the breakthrough year and I can feel it and see it the way things are unfolding. Part One has become a super hit and that gives Part Two of 2022 pressure to do good. Let's see what you have in store.

That's all for now, thank you so much for reading. I will see you at the next one.
