Lockdown 68 Days
Like everyone I was hoping that Corona would not come to India but what happened was different. Covid Lockdown 68 Days article is about how I got through the first two months of lockdown which was very tough.

Covid Lockdown 68 Days
Even if it was said in the beginning of March 2020 that we will be confined to our homes for months due to infectious diseases, no one would have believed us.

While I was hoping that it would not come to India, seeing the rapid spread, I was thinking, 'There must be something wrong!', when the unfamiliar curfew came.

It started with a five-day curfew, extended to 21 days and then continued for months.

I decided not to write much about Corona because there were Corona news everywhere like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter.

So far, there are 4 articles written on this site about Corona, two of which have different content.

Tamil Nadu government curfew notification
10 March 2020 Wife and children all went to town for summer vacation.

The Tamil Nadu government has announced a curfew from 6 pm on March 24.

I was in Chennai with my friends, even though I was alone in Singapore for a few years, I only went to restaurants and ate, and I didn't know how to cook.

Friends suggested that buying a package of The Grand Sweets and making rice would help.

Sister who is in Chennai, he called her home, only five days! Can't handle it! I said that I did not come.

Empty items
The shops were crowded and the goods were almost empty. Only drumsticks and gravy were available.

Even though I had never eaten drumsticks before, I bought what I got without any other choice.

I bought yogurt packets, apples, oranges and sapota fruits on the way.

My wife had bought a bag of rice and kept it, so I escaped. Otherwise, there will be a severe crisis.

21 days curfew
After coming home at 5.30 PM, when Prime Minister Modi announced a 'curfew from 8 pm for 21 days', Kubir was shocked.

I honestly didn't expect it.

I had bought only one package and gravy for five days. It seemed that she might have gone when she called.

How to survive 21 days without shop and restaurant? That has become a concern.

After half an hour, the mind calmed down and the reality spoke that there was no use in worrying anymore, one had to deal with it.

Although initially worried and scared, later I became interested in how we can overcome this and took it as a challenge.

To be continued (part-2)
