Following the novel Vekkai, Suriya is said to be acting in the novel Vadivasal directed by Vetimaaran.

Before the Jallikattu problem, I was thinking that Vadivasal was the name of some village 🙂 .

The place (Vasale) where the bulls are untied is called Vadivasal.

The temple bull is untied at the Vadivasal initiation.

Jallikattu
Jallikattu is seen as a symbol of honor both in earlier times and today.

That is, the value of the owner of an untamable bull is always considered high.

Zamindar
In those days it was a great badge of honor for zamindars and the like to keep such bulls.

Rather than being indomitable, the bull is too rude to think that the very thought of being tamed should not come.

When these bulls come, they are so intimidating that many people stay away in fear of their lives.

Perhaps if the bull loses, the punishment given to the bull by some will be cruel.

These days are blocked by restrictions and media attention.

Kari
Bulls reared with big heads are specially taken care of for this and are rough.

The sight of a bull can be intimidating enough to panic.

In this novel too, such a bull of the Zamindar is the hero of the story.

A shudder and horror burst through all the voices that screamed. Wadivasal was observed.

In a few seconds, the crowd that stood on its knees did not know where it had gone.

Awana ran around and hid, wondering how to protect himself from the horn of Kari.

Man and beast
In sports for men both know that it is a game, but in Jallikattu the man knows and the beast does not.

In Boxing, if the conflict between the two is too much, the referee will withdraw but in Jallikattu he cannot do the same.

Even a little bit of uneasiness will make the bull go belly up.

Bichi and Maruthan
Bichi and Maruda came from the east to see the taming of the bull.

While they are talking near Jallikattu Wadiwasal, a local elder who comes and joins them befriends them.
