I write this blog because I have observed some very weird cases lately which have actually arouse a feeling inside me that we are not taking good care of our pets in this pandemic.

One fine morning I had gone out for a bike ride with my husband to a nearby open ground, suddenly I found a dog loitering in that ground. Now that dg was not an ordinary one. Its breed was an expensive one and it had the dog collar bound to it. 

This clearly proved that the dog was bereaved by its master. Now I talked to the local people and they said that they found more dogs which were once pets of some person loitering in that ground.

Actually there are people who come to the ground and leave their pets and go away. When I discussed this case with the local people, they said.

The masters of these dogs could not bear the expenses of their pets and so they left them on their own. 

At first at the beginning of the pandemic these masters were feeling bored so they bought these dogs for their entertainment , then when the dogs management required more money and expenses and people are gradually going out and having other sources of entertainment, so they are leaving their pets .

When I heard this kind of a thing from those people, I felt really very sad. Why did they buy those dogs from the seller. Atleast the seller was taking care of these good breed dogs. Now these expensive rare quality pet dogs are left alone like an orphan. How mean is that. ??

How would those pet dogs cope up with the external world. They are pet dogs and its not easy for them to go out and lead a life of their own. These dogs would be attacked by the outside dogs because they are rare species. 

It would be wise of those people leaving the dogs alone, to go to a dog center and sell the dog. They would get money also and this type of crime also could be prevented.  

This is very important for us having pets to take care of them especially in this pandemic. If we buy a pet just because we wanted a company in the boring pandemic, then leave them outside when we are done with our companionship ., its really a very mean thing to do. 

We have to understand that its very difficult for pet dogs to sustain in the outer world. Moreover in this pandemic there is scarcity of food and water outside, so leaving a pet dog outside just because we cannot afford their expense is not a solution. We need to do something that would keep the dog in a good position. Like we can sell the dog to a center or simply give away the dog to a dog lover or someone in need. That much of work we have to do. Leaving our own pet dogs in this rough and tough world is like bereaving our own children …..!! We do not have a right to do so…!!
