Why in interviews, you need to Sell yourself, and how?

Well, everybody knows that a job is of mutual understanding where a candidate needs a job and an organization needs manpower to do the work.

15 years ago, there is a demand for people for jobs because the work is more and educated people who fit well for the work are less. In that time, organizations could take a step down and ask a person to do the job and use to give more salary to convince the employee to do the job. In some times, if the employee wanted to leave the company, the organization could give a big hike to employees just to remain in the organization.

Now, it has all changed. Because the demand for jobs is inversely proportional to the demand of candidates. As said, yearly lakhs of people get graduated. In that, 25% of the people get placed. So, the competition is more, for one job there would be 100 applicants. And that is why you need to sell yourself, convince HRs to get a job.

The interviewer has total right to ask any type of questions, demand you answer tough questions because they are giving you a lifetime opportunity.

Interviews have been a very tough job to crack, and especially for the freshers. You apply for a dream job, you get the chance for an interview. Unfortunately, you miss the chance because you haven't prepared. Just relax and learn

Here are little tips to crack the interviews.

1.When you go for the interview, do a little background check of the Organization. Take notes on what attracted you to give the interview and talk about that in the interview.

2. Go through the roles and responsibilities of the job to which you have applied. If the interviewer asks about the job roles and if you don't know what to say, you can forget about the job.

3. Get in touch with your academic knowledge. You know about your knowledge and experience in the college, but you have to get that to the interviewer.

4. Don't panic, don't get nervous, give your best. If the interviewer asks you something, give them an answer instead of sitting ideal. A big no, for sitting ideal.

5. A one-page resume, can't explain everything about you, your commitment to the job, and your skills. Prefer talking a lot about your experiences, about how willingly you want to take this job, and if given the opportunity how would you use it.

6. When the interviewer asks you something, talk about it, and instead of completing your sentence in one line, try to tell in detail, and give examples.

7. RESUME, make sure your resume looks good enough to shortlist you for the interview. Mention every detail of yours correctly in the resume. And, importantly put your resume in a neat format, so that it will be easy for the readers to understand and remember you. You can get plenty of resume templates online for free and use one. And also, Don't keep your resume short, make it compulsory to 1 and a half pages or 2 pages.

8.  When the interviewer asks the self-introduction, tell about you which includes, your name, where are you from, educational background, family background, experience, hobbies, goals, strengths, weaknesses, and your personality. Do not end up only with your name and your qualification, it already in your resume.

Always, Always show a positive attitude in the interview.
