We form our perception towards persons or things based on our past experiences and this often leads to misunderstandings and bitter relations. However we must understand that not every person is same and we must not judge people based on our prejudices. Lets understand this with this simple story.
Once there lived a lovely couple in a village. They were the first in the village to have a love marriage. Every other couple used to envy them. Everyone used to think how could one couple be so understanding and love driven. They never fought with each other, not even an altercation.
The king and queen of that kingdom got to know about this couple and one night, on the terrace they were talking about this couple. The king said that the man must be very loyal and understanding that's why the couple is living so peacefully. The queen said no, the lady must have been compromising in order to sustain the marriage. After the conversation is over. The royal couple decided to take a test of the other couple to know who between the two loves more.
The following day the queen send one of her servant to the man with a message that if the man kills her wife, the queen is ready to marry him because she has fallen in love with him and wants to spend the rest of her life with that man. The man replied that he only loves her wife and and he would not do any such thing and very politely refused the queen's offer.
Now the same proposal was send to the wife from the king's end. The king was surprised to know the answer of the lady. She accepted the proposal and told the messenger that she would kill her husband at night. The king got very angry and thought all women are same and didn't want to see any woman after this, he sent his soldiers in the night to save the man but it went in vain. The wife had already killed her husband. The king got the lady arrested and was furious on each and every women.
The king called his prime minister and ordered that each and every women in his kingdom shall be killed before he returns from his journey. The PM was dumbstruck on hearing such order. He couldn't execute such order and so he left without informing anyone. The following day when the king returned felt very angry on watching women in his kingdom. He called his PM but he was informed that PM had left the court two days back without informing anyone.
The king immediately reached PM's house. There he saw his aged father and inquired him about his son. The old man knew everything and therefore he asked the king to listen to him. The old man used to work for the king's father. So, he also listened to him carefully. The old man narrated a story about how a woman killed a prince just because the prince wanted that woman as her wife and she refused as she was already married. The prince got her husband killed just to marry her but the woman got angry and killed the prince and herself as well in order to leave earth with her husband only.
This story completely changed the king's mind and he realized how abominable his order was. He immediately issued a public apology and facilitated every woman in the kingdom.
