Hello everyone! How are you all? Hopefully you all are doing fine and so am I.
By now we all have hear the word Constitution for sure. In our schools and colleges also now that we have grown alot and watch news we always hear the word Constitution. But have you ever thought why do we need it?
What is constitution? It simply means the physical character. It means that it is a thing that tells about the features of any object or what it constitutes for.
The question is why do we need it?
Well a country needs constitution to maintain law and order in the country so that peace could be maintained in the country. If a country will not have a constitution then there will be alot of disputes. The constitution tells us in what kind of society do we recite. And what values this society teaches us in our journey of life. Constitution tells us what type of government do we have. It defines the powers of government so it can't misuse these power, rather use them in such a way that it would be fruitful for every citizen, no matter what caste or creed. In our Constitution, Part- III defines the Fundamental Rights of a citizen. And also in Part-IV A defines the Fundamental Duties of a citizen. So the Government cannot break laws or exploit citizens. And at the same time citizens cannot be exploited by other citizens as the rules and rights are clearly mentioned in the constitution.
Many constitutions have provisions to help prevent exploitation against the minorities by the majorities. This is because the constitution have laid some rules that gaurds them from the misuse of power by the politicians or the government for say.
India is a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic with a parliamentary system of government. The country is govern in terms of the rules and regulations in the constitution of India which was adopted by the constituent assembly on 26th November 1949 and came into force on 26th January 1950. Our constitution provides for a parliamentary form of government where federalism is in structure and with certain unitary features. Our Constitution states that the head of the union I'd the President. Our present president being Mr Ramnath Kovind. Aasman article 79 of the Constitution of India the council of the parliament of the union consists of president and two houses known as council of States or in normal terms upper house which is the Rajya sabha and the house of the people which is the lok sabha. Dudu president is the head of the union the real executive power is vested in the Prime minister of the country according to the constitution of India. Our Prime minister Mr Narendra Modi 10 is the one who always represents India in different countries and very rarely president does this.
Pseudo form country which explains the power of the respective people are the respective positions of Constitution is necessary it's just not about the past but also bought the rules and regulations laid down in the Constitution that makes a citizen worthy of his citizenship. Fundamental rights are designed in such a way that no human should feel exploited for or biased in any kind and so are the fundamental duties in such a way that every duty has to be done by the citizen no matter what the reasons are. Duty such as respecting the national flag, respecting the national song, respecting the monuments historical monuments of this country, respecting public property.
And that is why a constitution is important.
Thankyou🌼
