Hello everybody, i hope all are donig good and in good health i am here after a long time with my new blog about the novel i recently read about. As i was fascinated by the story i would like to share with you guys. And iam so overwhelmed by all your support and i wish to get it throughout my journey. So here comes the story sit back and enjoy it.
The novel of which iam going to talk about today is The kite runner written by Khalid Hossieni who has published other great works such as a thousand splendid years and the mountains echoed are a piece of art.
In the kite runner he explains a story of an Afghanistan household story which is woven around a family which consisted of a boy and his father who belonged to creamy layer of society who are served by a family of lower caste consisting of a boy and his father.
The rich young boys name was Amir and the poor boy's name is Hassan.Amir's father was a businessman and a well respected man in the society. Whereas Hasan's father was a mere household worker who cleaned the house prepared food and did all the odd jobs around the house.Though Hassan and Amir were friends Amir always had a thin hair of superiority taken the societal status. Hassan was a naive and innocent boy more than ever he was a hardcore follower of Amir's words. They were both excellent in kite flying. Amir loved his father and called him Baba. He was a wise and generous man helped the poor and the outcasted people and even built an orphanage in his place.Afghanistan were known to be a place for war and havoc. There was riots occasionally and people of lower caste were the easy targets.
Baba liked Hassan and Amir equally as they both were motherless children and were breast-fed by the same mother.Amir was a literate and Hassan did not have any privilage of going to the school. They both were very close friends and Hassan always used a phrase from his favourite book which was read to him by Amir and it was “for you a thousand times over”.Hassan was a trustworthy friend and would give his jaan(life) for Amir partly due to the friendship and also due to the preotection they gave them and a roof over their head while their caste people were treated unfair in that part of the town and also the love showered by Baba as Hassan's father and him were through thick and thin.
We shall continue the next part of the story in my upcoming blog.Till then take care my friends and keep safe.
