The Zombie Virus And How Harmful Is It To Us Humans ?

Recently Zombie Virus has been in news. Turns out it is a 48,000 year old zombie virus. But is it harmful like the corona virus? That’s the question.

So there is this virus that has been searched and revived by scientist in Russia that has been bud in ice for 48,000 years, which is also termed as the zombie virus. There are 13 such viruses found. They are officially called the Pandoravirus Yedoma. Pandoravirus was discovered below the bottom of a lake in Russia. Others have been found everywhere from Mammoth fur to the intestine of Siberian wolf. Now this has broken the previous record held by a 30,000 year old virus discovered by the same team in Siberia in 2013. The thing to take in consideration that why did they name this virus as the "Zombie virus". As we know that we have seen in movies and shows, zombies are
something that are not alive neither are they dead it means that they are undead. So under certain circumstances there is a chance that the zombies might come alive or become active. That is exactly why this virus that was found buried under the ice was named Zombie Virus. It means that under circumstances that are very certain might come in the near future, these viruses are gonna come active and going to affect the human race.

Now how will that happen is a very good question. Now, we all have
talked about climate change. Everyone in the world is talking about climate change. One thing that we know is that Arctic Circle is losing a lot of ice because of the heat that is coming inside. Now Siberia is
one such place where this zombie virus was found. Siberia is actually a permafrost area. Permafrost means permanent frost, but if climate change gets worse, this ice is going to melt and it is just not going
to melt where it is. It is probably going to go through rivers. And these rivers might end up in some sea which might travel the entire world. So if the virus is loose, it is going to get set loose in the entire world. So it is not going to stay in one place. So there is a high chance that if we do not take any key steps towards stopping the climate change, there is a chance that this zombie virus might come alive.

Now there is 100% chance that this might affect the human race. There is also a chance that the amount of heat that is coming inside out might burn them. But in and all, climate change has to be taken care of.
Despite the potential risk factor, there is no need to panic, especially if you think that the researcher should expose these virus into the atmosphere. As per the researchers, there is no harm done by
reviving the viruses from this research. The effect of climate change are being witness across a range of environments, from changes in crop yields due to unreliable weather conditions to the extinction of species. Yet another effect could be the increased risk of viral spillover in some regions that could cause new pandemics over the next few years climate change. Could shift the species range of certain valid vectors and reservoirs northwards, and the high Arctic zone could become fertile ground for emerging pandemics.

Thankyou🌼
