I’m gonna talk about a book that I recently read it is “A man called Ove by Frederick Backman and this was my first book from Frederick Backman and I literally loved it. I am in awe to Ove. He is such a man that you are going to fall for this character in no time. Even if you do not want, you cannot resist like and also he is people like Father. So I can resonate with a lot. And yeah, I love the book, although there were places when I think that the plot was dragging a bit. It was not that catchy. Also, this is not a kind of book that makes you feel like, okay, what is going to happen next because all the chapters that is there in the book have their own story. Like there are small incidents that Fredrick had shared about over about oops life. So you know the book is not as such. You know, kind of a book that makes you flipping the page like you wanted to know what is going to happen next. Still the book is gripping. Still you feel like reading one more chapter and then one more chapter and then one more chapter, which I think is the best thing about this book. So lets talk about the plot a bit. So old is a man, he is 59, he drives a Saab it’s a car brand and he literally judge everyone by the car they drive. It’s sound quite weird, but he has his own reasons for this and all literally hate everyone and everything around him. Like he do not like this generation who can’t fix a single problem by themselves, who are who indulge in social media and everything. And you know, he has his own ways to deal with things. And he double check. No, he triple check everything. Every door, every knock. And he is so cute. I mean he is very arrogant and rude. Still he is so cute that you cannot resist yourself to laugh out loud while reading about him when he is describing situation and. He is making you know different sounds and he is not replying to the people and when Labour just knocked on his door without any proper, you know, without any proper intention, he really get annoyed, like really. So he is kind of an arrogant person But still you love him because the way he, you know, describes situations the way he described people around him. It’s quite funny. So this is about him and he was kind of raised by his father because his mother died when he was small and then his father died as well. So he was a self made man and he really like houses because he can draw them and he can calculate them. They are not like people who are very uncertain. That’s why he like houses. So this is about, oh and then he married a lady, Sonja, the lady he really really love. And you know, when Sonja died it, it felt like, oh felt like that everything collapsed and he had no purpose in life anymore and he cannot live anymore. So all he is trying to do. They stood die peacefully. All he want in his life is to die and he tried so many days who died but someone or the other just come as an interruption. Every time he tried to kill himself like once he was tried shot himself in the middle of the night. He was naked just wearing his under garments. And socks. And that’s when mad. You know a queer couple knock on his door because they need help every time he is trying to kill himself. One person or the other needs his help so he cant do it and that is what annoys him the most. So the only reason I gave 4 star out of 5 to this book. Because as I have already told you that at some places story is felt like dragging. Also while I was reading this book I was not in my you know fittest mind, I was not feeling my best. Also as I have said I was not very happy while reading this book. That may be the reason that I felt like the story is dragging at some places. If you read this book you may be you don’t feel the same way and that is all right that is okay. I would definitely recommend this book to you. Please go for this book. You will love it. It is such a light read like you do not feel like that you reading it feel like that you are actually talking to home. Please take this look up and. Also let me know how you feel about this book.
